Re: DCD's 3.0.0 Is avilable for those who do it DCDStyle

This is fantastic! I really want this to work, but I am having an issue.

When I try to buld this myself, I get the selection popup, but then it crashes in BUILDPKG saying path not found. Perhaps I need to put things in specific directories. Can you please advise me what path structure I should setup, or perhaps what your directory structure is?
I'm trynig to build for Alltel.

Thanks.

Literally just unzip the rar file to anywhere. I put it on my desktop. Make sure you are leaving everything in the folder it is zipped in maybe? I have had no problems what so ever.

From dcd on xda... "Also requires: Visual C++ 2008 Runtime"

Your problem sounds like the same one I had when I first installed his kitchen. This fixed it. Maybe you have it installed already and it's a different problem but just figured I'd try and help.

Re: DCD's 3.0.0 Is avilable for those who do it DCDStyle

(friendly) yes, I installed Visual C++ 2008 Runtime and everything in the same directory ( just in case) I will try to set my path variable to see if that helps. I have to run now, but I'll look at this again tonight. I was thinking that there was a hard coded path in some command file somewhere and that I might need to re-create the same structure.

Thanks for the help. I'll let you know what I discover.

Before you do anything else. It allows you to run the kitchen on your computer.
