New ROM - Slow DL / Poor Reception

Hey everybody

Is anybody else experience slower download speeds and worse reception with the new official ROM vs 2.17?

In my home, I am only at 1 or 2 bars now, whereas before it was quite a bit more.

Also, web pages are taking significantly longer to fully load.

What should I try to cure this?
I already did a hard-reset after installing the new rom.

i too am having very poor connection speeds but i have 4 evdo bars...

Reception bars do seem less to me also, but I think it's all realitive. As for upload/download speeds right now, I wouldn't trust what you get now cuz servers are swamped with people downloading/playing/testing the new roms.
Are you using IE? Try Opera Mini, it seems to work faster.
One thing I have noticed is that my data connection drops even more frequently that with the leaked rom... grrr

i get more dropped calls and roamng

i'm ready to go back to nexvisions hybrid rom i had more stability and fewer dropped calls

Any of you try calling Sprint and flagging for a PRL update? At the very least it will reprogram your radio. Worth a shot

I went back to 60610 in the leaked version cuz it seemed to work better here in BFE... doubt they updated the towers with the update

my download speed and upload speeds are far better then before.

tethered to my laptop, i am averaging about 1.3-1.5mbps down and 380mbps up vs. 0.8-1mbps down and 330mbps up on the leaked 3.16 rom.

Wow 380 mbps up?? thats better than OC3 speeds! Freudian Slip or wishful thinking??? too bad we cant get download speeds like that!

yu shure yu dont mean 380 kb up because 380 MB people wouldnt buy home internet any more

I've noticed that my reception is not as good as the previous stock ROM or even the leaked one. Has anyone tried flashing the leaked ROM's radio with this ROM?

Also, anyone know if this ROM shipped with PRL 60611?
