New ROM Freezes and enters tricolor screen

I'm having the same problem, stuck at 11%......but i figured out that in my haste to update i did not RE-LOCK sooo loading 2.17 then re locking then re updating and will let ya know how that goes...

I'm having the same problem. The first time it froze at 11%. Now it won't even get past 1% and I've tried to re-install 2.16 and 2.17 with no luck. i've also tried all the troubleshooting steps that have been mentioned in this thread. nothing works.

How do you "re-lock" the phone priotr to updating?

will sprint will replace the phone if nothing works?

Alright... Here are my experiences:
Phone ROM is currently at 2.17.
Radio is 1.47
For one day I ran the beta ROM that was leaked. Didn't like it and switched back.
To get back to 2.17, I was having problem and had to use the Titan relocker.
Everything worked.
Phone worked perfectly since the end of Feb.

Come to yesterday.
I try to install the new ROM. It gets to the tri-color screen and just stops. The installation stops.
I can take the battery out and get back to my normal screen no problem.

I've also tried the SD card installation. Upon resetting, I get back to the tricolor screen and it just stops. Sits there with the word serial at the bottom. I've left it there for 10 minutes and it does nothing.

I keep getting this ERROR [260] : CONNECTION

The Update Utility cannot connect to your PDA Phone. Please check that your USB cradle/cable is connected properly between the PC and your PDA Phone.

Check the following:

1. The PDA Phone is connected to the USB cradle/cable.
2. The USB cradle/cable is connected to the PC.

This is what I get on the computer before it can completely update. In the meantime, my Mogul has a multi-color screen layered with red, green, blue, and white. The red layer has: "TITA100 SPL-1.07.000 CPLD-9", the green and blue layers are blank, and the white layer has "USB" within it.

Any suggestions?

I'll try this - I'm stuck myself. -- tried the relocker in IMcokeman's folder - after locking I was able to perform the update - thanks and thanks IMCOKEMAN!
