Also wondering.. will probably try it myself later today or tomorrow.. not super eager though as a dcd or no2chem release will probably be much better anyway.

Re: Anyone try the new update on a p4000(Telus)

Yes I am running it right now with a Telus P4000, if you know howto reprogram your phone if it all goes to hell (and it will )then go ahead but definately skip the customizations at the start, caused me a lot of greif when I let them run the second time.

I can NOT confirm if Rev A is working for Telus, but I was able to connect through evdo and make calls after reprogramming.

i have cooked my own rom.. its is modified version of original sprint with some customizations. I dont see any speed gain when i run speedtest , but internet seems faster ( :S ).

Gps is working good. Seems like memory leaks are fixed too. If someone is interested in post the rom i am using.

Which update are you talking about? The update from the HTC website for WM6? It's been around for a while. I bought a P4000 new and it had already been applied. Is there a newer update?

Sprint released a new rom yesterday that enables GPS, and Rev-A... check the forum... it's littered with posts about it...

Re: Anyone try the new update on a p4000(Telus)

For TELUS P4000 work great and fast

New RADIO and CE ROM
1. Hard-SPL-240-MFG.exe/titan_SPL_2.40-olipro.exe (follow the instructions)
2. Run titan_radio_3.35.04.exe (very simple GUI instructions)
3. The titan will reboot by it's self, put it back in BOOTLOAD MODE
4. Extract dcd_titan_kitchen_3.0.0.rar to a directory and run BuildNB.bat (it takes a couple of min)
5. Select the stuff you want and don't forget your carrier (TELUS....)
6. Press the PLAY button (when finished, which is hard to see, when play is green) close the BuildOS
7. In a DOS windows it will build the CE ROM (follow the instructions)
8. Titan will reboot

Talking surfing still not turned on.
