Backed up contacts but no folder?

I backed up all my info and it synchd my pictures/notes, i set it to synch contacts as well but it didn't do it? I checked options and selected under windows pc 'Contacts' and under Media also selected 'contacts'. I then synched, but when I checked WM_owner my documents it doesn't show any contacts in any of the folders???
