That's a good thought. I didn't run the IOTA app to provision after I changed the setting. I'll try that.

Re: ebmorgan's Mogul 3.35 ROM review

Thanks, I kenw the hard reset was important, but was not so sure about the Sprint stuff. Do you think a second hard reset and not running the customizations after running them the first time would be sufficient?

Thanks

motrid

Re: ebmorgan's Mogul 3.35 ROM review

This is the steps you should take:

Flash-->hard reset (this is automatic by RUU)-->let customizations run-->hard reset again.

The rationale behind this is that a hard reset doesn't reset EVERYTHING. But a reflash is a complete repaving of the phone. There are some things that get done to the phone by customizations that are nessecary. The contents of the ExtROM aren't all junk... Like I stated above, once you run the cusomizations once, then you can hard reset. That will blow out all the BS Sprints puts on but lower level configs that get made are unaffected by a hard boot.

Make sense?

Re: ebmorgan's Mogul 3.35 ROM review

I flashed mine by micro SD, soft reset and let it boot then soft reseted before it could "customize" with no issues. Made a few calls, got a few texts, surfed the web, located myself with GPS.....The machine does feel somewhat snappier and hope it stays that way. I'm just hoping streaming internet connections don't crap out as much as it did with the test rom for me. I usually stream XM radio at work and the last rom has a tendency to lose connection after awhile.
