Whats the Best Rom for Me?

Hey guys i haven't been on the fourms for a while been busy with many things. Currently i have the 2.17.651.0 Rom and im sure its outdated and very old. My phone is very sluggish and every time i try to text and make a phone call it freezes 90% of the time. I was wondering what is the best rom for me to update to?

I dont really care about GPS but i do care about Rev A if thats out.

Any information would be possible i just want my phone to run without resetting every hour.

well i personelly upgraded to 3.16 and unlocked it to flash to no2chems 6.1 rom which i am loving the gps and the quicker internet is nice but i am really loving the threaded sms.it manages memory bettr than 6.0 and looks nicer.just my humble opinion.also if you need help doing such a thing the threads are availabe and you can pm me for any help.

wm6.1 is available for those not wanting the 3.27 radio with DCD's 1.7

over at xda DCD mentions that he runs the 1.7 on his device because of the stability

I've tried ROMs from No2Chem, DCD, NexVision and they all work very well. It is dependent on what you are looking for. Each one is feature rich and pretty stable. Kudos go out to the builders.

if u dont need the gps, go for dcd's 1.7 which has win 6.1. it is by far the best ive tried

i am new to ur site and i haven't a clue as to what anyone is talking about. when u say flash are u reffering to the hard drive and the speed

so i guess it is a no brainer that i just got a smart phone and the real funny things is myself and three of my friend also have this phone and i am the computer geek amoung us

being a noob myself, I would suggest that you read through some of the threads. There are many that will answer your questions such as "what does flashing a ROM mean?" to "what is a kitchen?". There is a lot of talent here and some very patient members that take us noobs under their wings. Good luck.

Just letting you guys knwo I have problems with any of the ROMs > 2.0.0 and Radio 3.27. When I have my mail direct push on my phone doesn't seem to wake up pressing the power button, turn direct push off and I'm fine. (or use anything that runs on Radio 2.??)
