Normally you can run RUU from the boot loader screen

did you active sync your contacts to your comp. and activesync them back. have you tried to flash a custom rom yet.

well, after me creating some of my own problems along the way I finally have a accomplished my mission. Now I just have to see if this is what I want.

I think the first time around I just had a bad download of 3.16. after that I was rockin along with no problems. Thanks for your time

well i had to re enter my msid whenever i first flashed 3.16 but have flashed several roms since then and am starting to have fun creatng my own ROMs.so once you get into this i believe you will find it addicting flashing ROMs that people make.

That is prob. very true.. right now I just want to play with the GPS, I have to go download and install HTC home and windows live...

oh yea im definately addicted. i think my girlfriend is jealous of my phone. sense you are still using the stock 3.16 ill post some things that worked for me when i was using it.also i would download google maps thats what i normally use.

no, I made it to 5049.... GPS works good with the windows live search.. I have noticed that my memory is kinda low running around 7mb. that makes me a little leary of adding HTC home.. where is the batt indication for 5049?

go to settings and system and you will find it there also if you if you have htc home v2.1 then you will have the battery in the title bar and i can give you a cab to help determine which one you wanna hit.also download oxios and use the built in task manager to close your. oxios will help you manage your memory very well and memmaid will help you with your program memory.
