Re: Trouble with input field in 6.1 threaded SMS

Woo Hoo! A fix has presented itself! Actually, Ayerthon with help from Popamopps over at XDA has posted this fix. It makes the input area in threaded SMS taller! So that even if you have the height issue, it's still plenty tall enough to see what you're typing. Even without having to toggle the soft input panel!

The part I love best is that you can actually see 2 or more lines worth of text. Not sure if it does anything for the scrolling issue some people have been having.

Go to Windows, find the threaded_sms.htm file. You can either edit it on your phone with notepad, or total commander.

Look down through the file for this line....

<Inbox:content id="COMPOSESUBJECT" width="98%" height=35 spell focus count links noclearonbackpresshold limit=0 autocap inserttab scroll />

I changed the height from 35 to 60, which is more than enough when you've gotten used to only being able to see the very top of typed text for so long.

Full credit on this goes over Ayerthon & Popamopps over at XDA.
