Problem after upgrading/restoring

I upgraded to DCDs 2.3.1 win mobile 6 upgrade. I unlocked the phone, upgraded it, and everything was peachy. Then i decided to run the data backup program to restore all of my messages, contacts, etc. and when it ran, it somehow deleted ALL the program shortcuts. Should i just hard reset the thing and try again or waste time trying to figure our how to access file explorer?

Re: Problem after upgrading/restoring

If i was you I'd use PIM backup. Try hard resetting and rerunning the restore. If it does it again, dump the program your using and go with PIM.

Re: Problem after upgrading/restoring

I used to use Sprite, but after the fiasco of trying to restore after upgrading last time I gave up on it.
