Re: OEM help

Install sktracker

use sktracker to make a snapshot.

Install your cab, then make another sktracker snapshot.

Then use sktracker to compare the 2 snapshots to see what files are put where. Then manually create your OEM using oemizer but instead of importing a cab, import each file individually, and manually set the path.

Do the same thing with registry settings in the compare, and Voila, you have your OEM.

I have been lurking for about 6 months

use activesync to find the installed files on your device that the cab installed, and pull them to your pc, then add them using oemizer

sometimes the cabs "Compress" the files......

pull all the files from your phone to the pc, add them in oemizer.....

I think sktracker does registry as well, but if not, use mobile registry editor (from your pc, not ppc), export the settings, install your cab, then export the registry again.

The use a file compare program (like beyond compare) to compare the 2 dumps, and see what registry entries changed.
