Do I need a rom to do this or a new phone?

I want my phone to turn on when I slide it open.
I want my phone to lock when I slide it closed (less an issue)
I want my phone to ring AND vibrate
I want the GPS to work.

Everything else is gravy.

Answers....

1. Hit the power button before you slide
2. Refer to 1
3. Sounds and notification setting should do the trick
4. WM6.1

Answer 1 and 2 are not what I was asking. I was hoping to do it automatically - this thing is programmable - it's insane to think that this wouldn't be possible.

I'm in Sounds and Notifications and it won't let me chose vibrate for an incoming phone call.

It should allow you to select "ring and vibrate" under your sounds and notifications settings.

This was helpful I didn't think to change the dropdown box because the checkbox was there for all the other options.

I can't find the event handler or I would write it my self. This is ridiculous.

To change your ringer options, go into Settings, then Phone and the drop down box for Ring Type should allow you to choose Ring and Vibrate.

Yes, I was looking all over my Mogul for this option...I remember 6700 can do this automatically.
