HELP!! titan constantly soft resets on its own

So after flashing the rom and getting stuck at tri-color screens and such. I used cokeman's tool to get out of the bootloader screen.

everything seemed fine but when i unplugged the usb from my phone to my laptop, and when i was about to leave. the titan started resetting itself on its own after about 5 seconds from restarting.

help!!!!

Probably due to a mismatch amongst the ROM, radio, and bootloader.

The only combinations that work properly are:

1.
a. 2.xx level official ROM or custom ROM based on official 2.xx ROM
b. 1.xx level radio
c. 1.xx level locker/unlocker/bootloader

2.
a. 3.xx level official ROM or custom ROM based on official 3.xx ROM
b. 3.xx radio
c. 2.xx level locker/unlocker/bootloader

No other combination will work properly. Custom ROMs can be numbered however the ROM compiler decides to number them, and are often inconsistent with the official numbering schemes, so you have to research the ROM to determine what level official ROM it is based upon.

If you flashed a custom ROM based on 3.16, for example, and did not install the 2.40 unlocker or the 3.27 radio, you could experience the symptom you described. Installing or flashing the proper component(s) should fix your problem.

Re: HELP!! titan constantly soft resets on its own

You have to download it from HTC. I just had this same problem with progressing issues. I posted about it but no luck on further information. The only fix I have found is to flash back to OEM and relock the device. Start over from there. Flashing the radio again did seem to provide temporary releave of this loop. However it would progressively come back or come back after any ESN changes were made.

Here is a link to the Sprint 2.17 OEM ROM, download link near the bottom of the page.
http://www.america.htc.com/support/m...downloads.html

If you have unlocked your phone, here is a link to the relocker; look in the middle of the first post.
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=12041

The relocker requires an ActiveSync connection. You can flash the ROM through the USB cable or by using the SD card.

SD card instructions are about halfway down this post:
