Why do downloads from certain servers freeze at 256KB?

I have had this problem ever since I downloaded the 3.16 ROM, no matter which OS I use. Is there a workaround?

Seems to be a bug with IE and the 3.27 Radio. I saw it yesterday after upgrading to the 3.16 ROM with WM6. But today I installed DCDs 3.2.1 ROM with WM 6.1 and the problem went away. It may depend on what ROM you're using.

It actually doesn't matter which browser I use on the phone. The same downloads from the same servers consistenly freeze at 150-256KB. I really don't have time for BS. I'll just go back to an official ROM. I have the problem with DCD's 2.3.1 ROM too, BTW.

sometimes you can put that address in pc browser and download and then transfer to ppc.

I've experienced this when trying to download Live Search on my phone. The download worked when I tried it over WiFi though. Never really looked into it.

Had the same problem D/Ling Livesearch. Just got the cab and transfered it to my phone. Weird.

i was having MASSIVE issues with this the last week or so using 3.16... i would try various fixes and they would work for a few hours at best and then would have no affect. It got to a point where virtually every other page load resulted in a complete lock of my device. Long story short i just flashed No2Chem's wm6.1 (build 5049) last night and everything is better than it ever has been: i'm truly getting my rev a speeds now, no hangs, no lock ups, no dropped internet connections. I've been flashing roms for a very long time and it is by far the best rom i've ever fired up.

I'm having the same issue. I'll try to update to the 5049 build of No2Chem.

It's the radio rom, basically deal with it or revert back to official rom until the new official rom is released, this has been discussed before.

that is, only if they actually address this issue in the new official rom.... i wont hold my breath...
