Re: Ready for 3.x w/GPS, Which ROM ready for Prime Time?
The leaked Sprint Rom works fine and there is a good guide 'stickied' in the upgrades section at the top of the Titan Forum.
The cooked Roms have WM 6.1 which I have used and is pretty nice. Personally I found the cooked Rom's slightly buggy and went back to the 'leaked' Rom. Like you, I don't want to play around with my phone, I just want it to work without freezing up.

Re: Ready for 3.x w/GPS, Which ROM ready for Prime Time?
I personally have had less issues with no2chems rom than the leaked rom itself and i love the threaded sms so personally i would go download no2chems rom and have fun.

Re: Ready for 3.x w/GPS, Which ROM ready for Prime Time?
+1000 for no2chem's rom (build 5049) i've been thru many roms and this is the best by far i've had: stable, quickfast, decluttered, and simple to install (leaked 3.16 rom was a pain to install imo) there is nothing else out there i would recommend over it right now...

Re: Ready for 3.x w/GPS, Which ROM ready for Prime Time?
Strange... when I installed the leaked 3.16 ROM, it installed fine but I had big issues with MSVC1.6 (voice command) not working well. I also had problems with my BT headset (H500) sometimes working, sometimes dropping calls back to the phone.
I just installed Nexvision's latest Sprint ROM and so far, it's been pretty stable. Voice Command is *almost* as solid as it was on the PPC 6700. BTW, Nexvision's ROM is based on DCD and No2Chem's work. |

Re: Ready for 3.x w/GPS, Which ROM ready for Prime Time?
Thanks for the replies. It looks pretty mixed with good success all around on the cooked roms. If I read it correctly, I see
No2chem's for a relatively clean install DCD's for a middle (new features, not completely loaded) install Nexvision's fully tricked out max rom Would that be a fair assessment? I think I might try them in sequence real quick just to see which each has, then pick one to stick with. First I've got to make sure I've got all the pieces in place to reinstall my regular apps. |

Re: Ready for 3.x w/GPS, Which ROM ready for Prime Time?
FYI the only "clean" rom is DCD. Its the only rom sets out there with the max amount of memory and literaly nothing but the bare bones. Just about any other rom is going to boot with less then 18megs of ram.
