if felt that way up until about 3 days ago myself... the part about need to load the rom AND the radio AND the bootloader... that gave your boy serious pause. I've seen routine installs half-way brick a phone, so when you throw all 3 of those factors into the same mix, whew.
But anyways i just had to man up and realize i've already been doing this for years. if you follow the instructions here
