Keep in mind you don't need to flash the radio every time you upgrade ROMs. Once you have the data portion working, (which it sounds like you are still having trouble doing), it'll stay working even with newer ROMs...

Wow, I'm using DCD ROM CE 2.3.1 Kitchen so far with no problems and NO extra username/password. I've used many other ROMS out there, DCD so far works the best for TELUS, I add extra installs from the PPC6700 Kitchen and it just works. I'm sorry your having so many problem with your phone "brockmo"

That is ture "verkion" you don't need to flash the radio everytime if your just upgrading the ROM CE if it's 3.16 and above right now.

"brockmo" when you downgraded to the original TELUS ROM/RADIO, did you do the *22803 stuff?

No2Chem's rom is much faster than DCD's.. With DCD's roms you get more free memory.

After my last post, I left my phone for a bit and voila my data started working again. One thing I'm noticing is EVDO does not work whatsoever. It always has to keep retrying EVDO until it kicks down to 1X and then data works. Is there a way in DCD's rom where I can set it to use 1X only? I know you can do this in other roms (no2chem's I believe can)...

I've noticed the same problem, but I think that related to the "titan_radio_3.27.00.exe" issues.

You can't talk and surf and the same time.
Problems downloading large data files.
Jumping for EVDO to 1X and back.

I don't know if DCD's Kitchen can set it to use 1X only. The reason I like DCD is the KITCHEN, I've taken alot from the OEM Packages and added exactly what I need.

I have the exact same issue. 9% and fails, phone reboots. Error is either 420 or 328.

The reason it stopped at 9% for me was because I already had the 3.27 radio installed, and tried to re-flash the radio but it does not allow that. You need to flash back to an old radio and re-upgrade, or just re-flash a rom with the radio bundled in. But, 3.35 is out now so I don't know why anyone would use 3.27 now.

edited my first post briefly outling how i got evdo to work... no one else ever had to reboot before the initial customizations? it worked right away for all you other p4000 users? I actually got a brand new phone to see if it maybe was my phone, and it still did not work for me.. i had to reboot before the initial customizations even with the new phone..

I am a new user on this forum and I also have the P4000 from Telus. I tried to enable GPS but it didn't succeed. I'm using the Olipro 2.40 radio with DCD 3.2.6 image and 3.42.40 radio. The software I''It's not working for me. I'm currently using is Google Maps, but I'd like to use TomTom.

If you have the package (ROM, radio, bootloader, etc) that enable the GPS with instructions on how to install them, please let me know. I'd love to enable my GPS.
