Re: new battery.dll for the titan

The Mogul battery is like any other battery out there. When you put an initial load on it the voltage drops but then it recovers. Like no2chem said, HTC chose 10% because the spikes and dips would probably cause people to call and complain their battery was messed up when they saw it go from 100%-90%-95% in the span of a few seconds.

I've never seen the number go up without being charged. FYI, the ipod touch does exactly the same thing, and apple seemed to think people could handle the horror of seeing the gauge drop and then recover.

Yeah, Apple and every other lithium-ion battery device.

In any case, thanks to no2chem for the battery.dll and thanks to stroths for the signed cab installer... it works great on 3.35!

Makes perfect sense. I have seen my battery level jump up sometimes, especially after restarting the phone.

Re: new battery.dll for the titan

So I pulled a noob move and dropped the dll into the Windows folder instead of looking for a cab first. Now the cab won't install and the battery is showing 0%. Is there a way to correct the problem without flashing the phone?

Re: new battery.dll for the titan

I don't know if this is related to battery.dll or not, but is there any way to make it report the correct battery temperature?
