Rom Cooks: Write to ExtROM with nueExtROM
I recently developed a utility that allows you to write to extrom - however it must be inserted into rom because WM isn't playing nicely with loading other drivers. I have provided an easy to install OEM package, just drop the OEM package to install the hide/unhide tool, and replace the OEM_FLASHDRV.dll module in OEMDRIVERS with the one provided.
You can find the tool here. I am now accepting donations as I spend a considerable amount of time working with this device. If you enjoy my work, donations are appreciated.

I'm a bit confused on how can we utilize this.
Can we use the extended rom to store sensitive information that we want to keep after a hard reset? can we use it as extra space to install applications? |

Think of the ExtROM like a partition...you can store stuff there and install programs. However, anything that you store/install there will not be saved if you hard reset. It is like a small capacity internal SD card...

Cab Version Here
Here is a cabbed version I created from no2chem's excellent work. I updated it to be a single cab install, so the previous testcert cab isn't required.
Install Instructions 1. Install no2chem 6800 nueExtROMc.cab 3. It will prompt you to reboot. After a reboot it should be working for you. If you uninstall it will go back to normal.
