After No2Chem's 6.1 ROM...can't connect to WiFi Networks
I loaded one of the WM6.1 ROM's on my PPC6800 and I can't connect or see any wireless netoworks. I've entered my SSID and set the security settings and entered my network key, but it just says unavailable when I try and connect. Any ideas?

build 4045 - i had the same thing happen but when i was on the configure wireless networks page - i flipped the wireless button up and down and it seemed to work all of a sudden

i can connect the my wireless network but i cant get anything else to happen. Sites just time out and i cant browse other computers shared files either.

I'm going to downgrade back to 2.17 or something to rule out hardware issue, I have never actually tried to use wifi. I'm don't want to have my phone replaced. I'll post back with results tomorrow, I can't update now I have vista-64 and need my xp work computer.

Well I put BigJ's ROM on, a Sprint 2.17 ROM with Radio 1.40 and I still can't connect to my wifi, or see any wifi networks. I'm not sure how I can tell if this is a hardware issue or not??? Is there anything I can do to test hardware? I'm trying to get WiFi to work so I can use the domain enrolment in WM6.1 Thanks.

I have the same issue but then I am not sure if some recent registry settings may have disrupted wifi operation (ie, TCP settings).
