NEW Sprint WM6.1 ROM (based from DCD 2.2.6)

Hi all!

Though I may not have many posts on my count, I have been a long time lurker of PPCGeeks. From owning my Verizon 6700 to the Sprint Mogul, I have flashed my phone numerous times and created many kitchens/ROMs to run on my PPC. Needless, I'm not new to the world of PPC customization and modification.

This is a **SPRINT** ROM based from DCD's 2.2.6 WM 6.1 ROM. I've tried to create this ROM as stock as possible, adding back in all the stock features that DCD decided to throw out. Below is a list of OEMS included in the ROM:

* Latest Windows Live (originally included in leaked 3.16 GPS ROM)
* IA ZIP
* Remote Desktop
* Live Search
* Newer Games
* Office 6.1
* Latest Esmerec Java 6
* Internet Sharing
* MMS/Picture Mail (for when it works again)

The ROM still has some of DCD's customization such as Touch Dialer and 10 Button CommManager, but as soon as No2Chem's 6.1 ROM is completed and all issues ironed out, I'll move back to his to base the stock ROM from. Or I'll find a way to split in the stock dialer and commmanager.

Please enjoy this ROM, as I know I am. I do have the same ROM (with a few extra OEMs added in) running on my PPC and I have to say it runs very stable and quick. I love it.
Any feedback is appreciated!

EDIT - Also, you MUST have new HardSPL 2.04Olipro bootloader installed, and install Radio 3.27 before or after installing this ROM.

I am going to be loading this ROM here in a few minutes. Does it have the Cube and TouchFlo?

Thanks for the rom but I'm going to wait for the official HTC/Sprint rom to come out in 11 days. Maybe DCD 3.0 build off the final release?

The cube and touchflo is not included in the ROM. This rom is intended to be as close to stock as possible. Just as you would receive from Sprint, with a couple of extra customizations by DCD that i cant remove yet.

Rev A stable?

What soured me on the 3.16 release and why I went back to 2.17 was that the Rev A connection was not stable for me (ok, ok, I couldn't play WoW on it and some pages just stopped loading partway thru) I use ICS and WMwifirouter for my laptop.
Is everyone happy with the EVDO connection with this rom (or any other) or am I still better off waiting for the official release?
This issue is #1 with me because I travel a lot and don't want to pay $15/day for crappy hotel wifi. GPS is cool with live search showing the traffic where you actually are, but without rock solid internet access, it all comes to naught.
