Re: Official ROM Release Date Speculation Thread - RENAMED - MERGED
Something I'm confused about. Everyone is complaining about the Mogul and the Touch, and the Tilt, and Sprint and ATT, and Verizon...
But everyone is basing this on their experiences...
Consumer Reports makes their articles based on consumer surveys.
Where is the actual study? The clinical, objective study. The one that says "Sprint's Network has crappy signal, Verizon or ATT is better". The one that really says "HTC phones are a scam, buy something else".
Everyone here is passionate about their "opinion", and doesn't want their thoughts to be cast aside. I understand that.
But lets be realistic here. ATT, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, Alltell, ect have us by the short hairs when it comes to contracts.
I realize this means you "feel" you can't just pick up and move to a new carrier at will.
But the bottom line is still that if you don't like a phone, you buy a new one. If your within your 30 days, you exchange it. Otherwise, you can hate Sprint, or ATT or whoever all you want, but truly, unless you can prove some negligence, your SOL. And what you perceive as a lack of communication to you means squat. You may not like it, but they (what ever company) are under no obligation to tell you anything.
I mean think about it, how many things happen in your home, or work, or organizations your part of that just don't happen the way they should or are scheduled?
If my WoW guild is any indication, the best laid plans are guarenteed to go awry.
Besides... If anyone could make a better PPC Phone, don't you think they'd bring it to market?
Even the iPhone can't compete, because its not meant to. Its a different niche.
So please, everyone, get over it.

No, I'm sure it does that all the time... Can you duplicate it for me? No? Its intermittent? Oh, so it doesn't do that all the time. Oh, just most of the time? But I need to duplicate the problem to find the problem... oh... Why should I be able to fix a phone I can't tell is broken? (Conversation with a Sprint customer)
