Now, I'm not saying its imprudent to be skeptical... but its one thing to doubt someones authenticty, its another to vocalize that in a fashion thats dismissive and disrespectful.

Not to mention that doubting the veracity of something (being skeptical) is inherently negative.

I would say that the manner in which we (the community) go about responding to newcomers posts makes us very elitist and unwelcoming, and hinders us in the long run, as it gives no incentive to others with potential knowledge and skills to join our community.

So please, lets just be nicer. Please.
