Still, two and a half months can be enough time to iron out the bugs. wasn't the release time between 2.16 and 2.17 about a month or two? Could be wrong though.

i have disconnect on nuerom about once a day, once a night rather. will wait for new nuerom rather than installing stock sprint upgrade. too much junk.

This is off a sprint rep in a store? Coming from someone with less than 5 posts. Didn't we just go through this on the 15th? When it's on the web and downloadable I will believe it. Until then I think I will give No2Chems a try today.

Figure I'd chime in in case any other Alltel folks have read up to here. I used to be in touch with the Alltel folks on a regular basis; they used to give the whole "we prefer to come to the table later than everyone else, so that all the bugs & aggravation can be worked out by other carriers first" BS - even though they STILL get their fair share of bugs when they FINALLY bring new technology's out to their customers.

SO - with that said - anyone looking for an Alltel update of any sort can expect it to be - and I say this with pretty strong confidence - somewhere on or after 3rd quarter of 09...maybe...if testing is successful...or not...or something...I think :P

So - hopefully our master ROM makers will continue to hook up us Alltel folks once the Sprint official comes out

i will believe the release when its officially released, its been so many wrong dates given to use. Im just checkeing back every now and then, to see when its released. When and if this release does happen this will be the only phone i would have ever needed.

All of these posts are fake or sprint reps quoting stuff that they read on forums. Don't believe any release date until there is an update from Sprint or HTC or even better until you have a new rom in your grubby little paws.
