Also for the others that Posted the Date of Mid Feb that was supposed to be somewhat accurate as well but from what I was told there was a bug that was found that delayed the release... It was resolved and I hear the 10th...

As far as rumors the only fun ones to start are about your Ex g/f or Ex b/f lol

Alright everyone. I think it is safe to assume that there is a semi legit rumor of the 10th. Beyond that we all know nothing and this thread is headed for the garbage can if we don't get back on topic.

To get it back going again, yes I think a announcement on the applicable forums with download link would be best and then open a discussion in the titan forum for users to discuss. That would hopefully sort out some issues. I would post the link in the thread though, or we all know a noob will ask where to get it. Actually they'll ask anyways so never mind

I'll believe that the 10th will be the date. Only because Sprint only has a little time before "Q1 2008" is over. I'm sure they're kicking themselves real hard right now for making people think that it was supposed to be released before the end of last year, and then in the first month and a half of 2008. If they mess this up, it could mean a big merchandise return for all of those Moguls.

I, for one, am very happy with my phone, AS IS. Running the stock 2.17 ROM. I just switched to a SERO plan to save some money, and I dropped my TeleNav, so I really don't need the GPS right yet. When it does come out, I'll get something free. And for the Rev. A, well, I'm happy with the speeds they're at now. Sure, it's faster, but I can wait for it. At one point I did say I was over this waiting game. BUT, someone did say earlier, "Patience is a virtue."

I had to take my Mogul in today to have it checked out because I was getting some crackling sounds from the speaker, and when I switched to my new account, my internet stopped working. I took the phone in a couple weeks ago for the crackling sounds, and they fixed it for a short time, then it started again. So, with my $7.00 a month insurance, I took it in, and now they've got me a new one on order. I'll have it in a few days. Sprint is doing their best to keep me as a customer.

But, I still feel like March 10th may be what we're looking at. And if not, oh well. If it's not out by summer, I'll just get the Touch and put get the updated ROM on that.

FYI, there is no updated ROM for the touch. Just thought you might be interested.

dunno if anyone suggested this, delete at will if i'm redunant
but given that the sever will be slammed, perhaps a few volunteers can mirror the new rom?

Also, for those who just can't wait, if you are of a mind, SPB Mobile Shell 2.0 may be something to tide you over.

I think there are plans to mirror it on the site I mod, I will check and post back. Mods, this might not be a bad idea. Could put it on the ftp site. Although this might crash the ftp server if it gets enough attention.

Are we assuming that HTCs servers won't be able to handle the load....?

Come on now, do you think they care enough to lease bigger servers than what is needed for everyday traffic for a ROM release. It will be a nightmare to get it for weeks. This thing is so hyped up. I will be amazed if there are no issues.

if you are okay with double digit download speeds. then yes.

last time the 2.17 rom was out, it was a madhouse.

And this is probably going to be bigger. I will try to push for a mirror on my site, I would drop a line in the site suggestions about it here, they seem to read those often. Just a thought.
