Thanks
I did the same thing 2 days ago. I was overwhelmed at first, thought i bricked it a few times but all is well now. You have to upgrade your radio to 3.16 first. That is just a double click upgrade on your computer, and follow the instructions on your PC. There are some stickied threads here and on XDA for painless upgrades. Once you run the 3.16 upgrade, unlock it, and then flash your first basic from (i recommend DCD's 2.2.0 one until the little bugs are worked out of 2.2.1) and then you can read up on building your own rom using dogguy or dcd's kitchen. Most seem to use dogguy's kitchen, dunno why though.

2.2.1 feeback

Pretty clean install. few quirks I notice is that it seems slower than 2.0. In file explorer, if you delete an item the screen still shows the items and will not refresh unless you leave and return to that folder. I did not notice the programs not showing up issue mentioned above. iGuidance 4 has a harder time tracking the internal gps though, but it was jumpy before. Great build, thanks dcd.My real gripe is I still haven't found an IR remote program that works with the xv6800, regardless of the os version.
