Flashing SD Card Problems/Bricked Phone?
 

I recently messed up my phone a bit and I think the only way I'm going to fix it is by flashing over the SD card as the usb cable is giving me a ton of errors (prob in part to vista). So I was wondering how do I flash the stock verizon 2.09 .nbh via mini-sd card? I've been searchin a bunch, including looking through stickies but since "sd" is 2 letters you can't search it and I can't find much on the topic besides the xda-developers wiki which doesn't give instructions to the titan. Thanks

Edit: Renamed to TITANIMG.nbh and put on sd card, reset the phone holding cam+pow and it's stuck on 'Loading'

Any ideas? I got to naming the nbh file to TITAsomethin.nbh from a google search (its in my phone now so i cant remember the last few letters of the filename) and when I turned it on and went into the BL it's stuck at a gray screen that says "Loading" it's been there for about 3 hours?

what rom are you using now, may i ask?

you need to get the .nbh file from the rom you want to use. i use winrar to extract it. once it's on you desktop rename it titaimg.nbh

format your sd card to fat32. then move the newly named file to the card (using a card reader).

after the file is on the sd card, insert it into your phone and then press the power and camera button at the same time. while holding both buttons down, soft reset your phone. after that just follow the onscreen directions.

Any ideas on why it would be stuck on "Loading" screen in the BL? And I flashed it to the hard-mfg set but had problems so am now flashing back to the vzw stock rom off the ftp here

same problem trying to flash hard mfg it juz stays on loading screen.

Any ideas? It wouldn't be because of the CID would it? But then again, the VZW stock rom on the ftp is the correct ROM right?

After formatting card and putting rom on it can you still use card for storage of other stuff? or reserved for flashing?

You can add other things to your SD card along with the .nbh file.

If you use your primary storage card to flash as well, I'd regularly back up my data just in case

FYI. Use the name TITAIMG (leave the N off of TITAN). Works for me!
