Are you saying you use the sandisk 2 g w/o formatting?(fresh from box)and it worked?

Sort of the one i bought was pre formatted form sandisk, I inserted it and it was ready to go, no formating needed.

i use a 2gb sandisk one. i formatted it to FAT32 and it works great every time

i have about 9 diff roms that differ in about 5 diff groups....at my disposal to flash to during the day.

i wish my 4gb micro-sdhc would work, but it wont. i may have to remove everything off it, format it to fat32, and then move all my files back over and see if it works

or i may just buy a 8gb :)

12gb is almost out

Re: How to flash via SD card?

I just found this site a day ago, and figured what the heck I'm getting rid of the phone in a day and it's not my main phone so what if I brick it screwing around with it. I had the same issue flashing my radio, the screen would flash something for a second to fast to read and then just set at the rainbow screen waiting for USB.

I fixed it by putting the flash card that came with my phone (512MB one) in my Razer connected that via USB (so it comes up as a removable drive) to my windows 7 PC and reformatted it fat32 re being the key word. It worked fine after this.

Ok, first timer here so please be nice. I am able to flash my Mogul using BuildOS, but the ROM I'm wanting to use is not in the kitchen so I'm going to the SD method.

I have a 2gb/fat32 card with only the titaimg.nbh file on it. When I do get to the BL screen it does nothing.

Here's exactly what I see...

I think it should be TITAIMG.nbh

Re: How to flash via SD card?

Hello all, I just read through all of this, and it seems that a lot of people have/had the same problem as me. I'm fine with flashing my phone via USB but I would like the option of flashing on the go via MicroSD.

I've tried it with two different cards, a 1GB and a 2GB with a cardreader to PC.
Both regular microSDs (not SDHC).
Both formatted to FAT32, both empty.
Both with TITAIMG.nbh put in the root (I made sure that the capitalization and spelling were correct).

Both times, pressing POWER+CAMERA+RESET will throw it into Bootloader, Olipro 2.40.
I'll get the rainbow screen, and the word "SERIAL" on the bottom.

Then--nothing happens. Does anyone have any other ideas, or have I overlooked anything?

Thanks in advance.

P.S. (Hi Demonlord ^_^)

Do you have an OEM 512 MB card? Thats what I use and don't have any problems. Remenber to unrar the ROM file first then rename (my noob mistake).

P.S. Hi babyqt :)

Hi all, I have searched with all the keywords I can think of and cannot find an answer.
What would I name the .nbh file if I'm using a touch pro 2? Same TITAIMG.nbh?

No, it probably is something different. Post your question in the tp2 upgrades forum.
