formatting, how do you know if your card is at fat32 already or not?

if you are looking at it with a card reader on your desktop/laptop- right click and go to properties. it will be listed there. if looking at it on PPC- would need one of the more potent file explorers to do the same thing possibly. I just tried it with Resco on mine, doesn't show the current format of the disk.

cant seem to find anything on flashing from card on the Apache

naming scheme is prolly different, VOGUIMG.NBH is for vogue, TITAIMG.NBH for titan,
Not sure what its gonna be for apache, esp if the file format is different

*edit* see post below mine. i posted in the apache forum lookin for answer

Apache has different file format on them, thats why its .nbf instead. not sure about the naming convention- check apache forum.

you need to get the .nbh file from the rom you want to use. i use winrar to extract it. once it's on you desktop rename it titaimg.nbh

dumb question of the day.. where is the .nbh hiding.
example, i went into the Kitchen directory, and i have 'Titan_No2Chem_5054_WM6.1.rar' sitting in there.... i can explore it via Winrar, but i don't see anything in the ROM directory....

what am i missing..

Nickles, if you are using the kitchen i believe that you will need to cook up the ROM first, then you can get the NBH from one of two locations (listed below), you ONLY extract the NBH when it's from an EXE (like say an official release like 3.35)

Locations to obtain NBH from kitchen cooked ROM for mogul (actual location may vary in Vista)

C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\Application Data\hIq Inc\PPC-BuildOS\9.05.2.6Temp
C:\BuildOS\Upgrade\Titan_RUU

*edited for clarity*

Tremendous.. thank you my feline friend.
i see this file now in the \Titan_RUU folder of BuildOS like you mention above.
but it looks to already be a NBH file.. so just a tad confused when you say i need to extract it from an EXE ??
