Best PRL for 3.27.00 Radio on SPCS???
I noticed installing this radio only installs the 60610 PRL and not the current 60611 PRL.
Should I stay with the 60610 PRL for relability or still manually upgrade to the 60611 PRL?

Yeah I'm gonna agree on 60610. I've been running it all day with the new ROM's and have not had a SINGLE data issue of ANY kind at all using PUSH, weather updates, etc.
I haven't run the new 60611 with the new 6.1 ROM's yet though... |

I should downgrade to 60610 because it seems that prl 60611 has some issue with data but I am not sure I have to try 60610 now.

I've been running 60611 since yesterday (upgraded without trying 60610) and I haven't had any issues with voice or data connections so far. Well, the only issue I've had is it disconnecting from data once in a while, but that was like 3 times today and in an area with hardly any signal so I can't say if it was the phone's fault or not. Either way, was only a few seconds disconnection.

I have had the same issue with 3.16 rom and I believe it is the radio 3.27 problem that keep data disconnect every now and then so it is not prl, then. I've tried both 60610 and 6011 prl, data still disconnect 3 to 4 times a day.

Just for reference on Alltel the seemingly newest PRL is 40029. But it seems the 3.16 roms favor the 30029 (the standard & previous rom to 40029) in overall performance. In addition, a *228 option 2 will update you to the 30029 only and not 40029 in which 40029 must be manually entered.
40029 is marked as a special device prl in Corolada's PRL page and I believe 60611 may be the same in relation. This may coincide with overall function... |

I have been using 60611 for a little over a week now and I have had zero problems with it. I have dropping data signal once in a while, but I think that is radio 3.27's fault.
I am using DCD 2.2.0 |
