No2Chem nueROM 2.0 (WM6.1) Thread

Hey guys im kinda a noob to the whole flashing thing. I have seen/read quantumforce's instructional guide.
But my question is, can i go straight from what I am running now 2.17 to No2Chem's version of 3.16 without any mediary steps? Can i just start at that point in the "manual" and work from there? Or do i have go through some hoops. ie downgrading to 2.16 then upgrading to 3.16 THEN upgrading to No2Chem? all those steps?

any way to get this to work correctly with alltel (i am a noob yes) i got it working on a alltel 6800 but it keeps saying i am roaming and i have the sprint splash show up when it boots to WM6.1

make sure that your sd card is formatted to fat32 that was my problem too.

did that when migrated to Olipro's 2.4 for 3.16 builds....

OMG, my first post... Sorry... I tried the 5048 rom, yesterday and it was corrupted. Today its only 192kb. Can someone upload a fresh working copy?

same here... Im also having problems getting gps to work and I have used astrogps, quickgps and gps viewer with no help ... I'm using XP.

i dunno about those apps but have you tried live search or google maps with the gps yet?

when I select /Start/Settings/Phone and I changed the voice mail number (instead of #9 appears my current phone number) I pressend OK but nothing happends, the Phone settings window doesn't close and the setting is not changed

any idea how to modify this? maybe with the registry?

yea I have tried live, google maps and sprint nav and I dont even get 1 sat .... Those apps help to get more sats and open the gps port(com 4). Is there anything else I could try? any ideas?
