Despite my wifi which is hardware related broken, I get my sats in under 30 seconds. I am using tom tom 6.032 and using quick gps and the astrolauncher.

I've tried setting Google Maps to use Com4 at 4800 and I get "Your GPS receiver is not repsonding"...

Where are you when you try and get the signal? Inside the house? I can only get a signal from the window on one side of my house. Maybe try a different location?

It's an autorun similar to how Sprint and Verizon use the extended ROM. This just runs the cab files from the SDCard. You control how the config file is setup so you control what programs you want installed. It can also handle xml files which can be used to setup things like your user name and make changes to reg settings.

DoeDoe has come up with a couple of great looking programs to make it very user friendly. It willmake setting up a device after a hard reset a breeze. :)

I also have not got GPS to work at all. My internet works great as does everything else, but phone will not find GPS satellites. All my GPS settings are in line with what everyone else has recommended, and I am running 5044. The longest I have let it sit is 10 minutes, which I would think is sufficient. I haven't tried any of the GPS programs or launchers I've read about yet, thats my next step.

I have a quick question. I am currently running 5044 and for the last few versions, I would have IE open and when i open a new program it would close IE automatically. This happens with any program actually. Even when i recieve a phone call it closes any open program. This is very frustrating and was wondering if there is a fix for this. Thank you in advance

Alot of times this happens when you are running critical on memory... Its extremely, I emphasize EXTREMELY ANNOYING because I use wisbar advance desktop and it closes every time I run an app

could you get me a dump folder for your rom or tell me how to get it. Im looking for where to put the config.txt file I thought I had a dump of a rom but cant find the config.txt folder. all I need is a dump of the rom or someone to put the file into the rom and edit the config.txt file.

as stated in many posts it can take up to 45 mins to lock the first time. my first was 29 mins exactly. and it was outside. try to get a lock inside and it wont work ever sorry but it wont. try it outside and let it sit longer.

ok so Im trying to repackage this rom without two things. How do I get ride of the time and date in top right corner, and how do I get rid of sprint connection settings and what not. What can I pull out of the sys folder to get rid of ALL sprint stuff. 3rd splash screen and everything?
