Threaded txt messages work better with the slide out keyboard in the latest rom

When you slide the keyboard open in a threaded txt it actually goes to the bottom of the thread. With the last build it would only go about half way down the message and you would have to scroll the rest of the way.

your roms are awesome no2chem, and i thnk you for all of your hard work, i have one question...i tired to download your updated 5035 build but all that shows up on the ftp is the 5024 build?

do any of you guys notice with all the builds that after a soft reset the windows start logo at the top won't fully load/appear until you hit it...

I love the rom great work!

Only problem is when I try to go on the internet it just says "Locating" and nothing comes up.

Is there something I have to do to enable it to work?

I've tried it a few times to no avail.

It is there in No2Chem's ROMS... Since these are clean roms, I think that means it is part of the 6.1 image...

I had this happen even after I fixed my MDN and MSID (they were reset by the flashing..). Mine just started working after a while (about an hour, but I wasn't timing..).

Hopefully that'll be the case with me.

I really want to get this going, got it all loaded up, forgot to check the internet :(

I want to try to load Windows Live Search so I can get TomTom working (i read that people had more success when that was loaded first.

I have problem with data connection after upgrade to 3.16 rom, data connection does not stay connect, it always disconnect after awhile. I probably have to do manual connection every 20 to 30 minutes. Has anyone experienced the problem? Please advise.

So what info should I take down before doing this flash and where can I obtain it for my records just in case I'll need to re-input it into my phone?

I think you have to drag the 3.16 rom in the RUU folder and click on RUU.exe to install the rom. The rom should be RUU_signed.nbh

The ROM is installed and everything. I dragged it to the folder and installed it. Everything works fine except I cannot get onto the internet, it just says "locating".

So, you have to do reprovision and you can get .cab here, just do search for IOTA cab file. You just install the IOTA file to main memory and go "setting, phone, services tab, internet, then Get Settings.

have any of you guys been able to get youtube to work after installing the flashvideobundle and tcpmp.

I flashed to the nueROM and everything was going good and then it rebooted and got stuck at the HTC screen What didi I do wrong and how can I fix this?

ok, I already turned your latest rom into a basekit...

few things I have noticed,

1. the new .tsk theme is missing the 3D looking appearance on top bar

2. stock titan dialer is missing contacts in lower left, resolved by replacing with stock dialer from another rom.

3. On first boot, sometimes has wierd icons (start icon and signal meter) at top bar still. Seems some times it does this, sometimes it does not.

Rom is working well, will keep testing. Again, great work!!

Also, can autoupdate be left in next basekit? It can always be removed in a kitchen! I have had issues with just copying it back from last basekit.

Right now I'm the bootloader screen after running Olipro 2.40 successfully, and in trying to flash nueROM v2.0 Build 5035, the file itself is RUU_signed.nbh. How do I run that .nbh file?

download the rom update utility and copy the RUU_signed.nbh file from the nueROM into the ruu folder and run the ROMUpdateUtility.exe

Perfect. Just flashed successfully to 5035 and the Phone is now restarting, WM 6.1 and all.

Let's see if everything's still provisioned as it should be.

EDIT: Calls, Text Messaging, and Internet all work great(and fast), and now I'll download WMDC 6.1.

EDIT: WMDC 6.1 is great! And so is OneNote!

First time Flasher long time lurker
Tried to flash and got stuck at smart mobility screen.

Background:
Was using 2.17 rom. stop
Unlocked stop
unzipped rom and empty RUU stop
put 2.0.nbh in same folder as RUU stop
ran RUU stop
phone reset and does not boot past HTC sm screen stop

NOW
tried soft reset. same
After hard reset boot loader shows
TITA100
SPL-1.07.0000
CPLD-9

When i try to reflash form boot loader, it looks like its not updating.
am i missing a step?

please help.

After reading ever page from the beginning of the thread, here's the process I followed on my phone. After an initial misstep (not doing 3.16 first) everything looks awesome.

[started with 2.16 stock ROM]
Unlocked SPL (Hard-SPL-MFG 2.40)
Flashed in No2Chem 6.1 5035
Failed - hangs at HTC splash screen
Forced Boot Loader Init (Power + Camera + Reset)
Relocked SPL (Titan_Relocker)
Flashed in 2.17
Functionality tests OK!
Grabbed MSID Data and Unlock Code just in case (GetSPC)
Flashed in 3.16
Functionality tests OK!
Unlocked SPL
Flashed in No2Chem 6.1 5035
Boots OK!
Failure - No Internet
Downloaded IOTA.zip (contains IOTA_1128.CAB, installed CAB)

Sounds like a similar problem to the one I encountered. There are a few ways around having to do the whole 3.16 update but I just said, "screw it," and bumped back to 2.17, relocked, and flashed in 3.16 for the firmware goodness that it brings in. After bumping to 3.16 I unlocked and flashed in the new hotness (5035) and it worked great.

So right now, I have:

-GPS
-Rev. A
-WM 6.1 Pro
-Working BT

Ok, so now all we need is those Graphics Drivers for our Qualcomm MSM7500 chipsets and we're good to go(minus the 128 MB RAM).

This thing is DOA
 

I have tried a hard reset and still stuck at the HTC screen. Looks like Im in trouble now.

Power + Camera + Reset = Bootloader

Once it's in the bootloader, you can flash new stuff. You can "relock" with the old boot loader or flash in a factory version. If you're stuck at the HTC screen it's likely that you don't have the required firmware/radio updates. There are a few ways to get those, one is to flash 3.16 and another is to grab the radio firmware itself and flash that.
