Sweet.

Seems to be responding very well. Memory appears to be lower than previous builds. About 17.5 or so.
However, I am syncing and loading programs all at the same time -- that's pretty kewl.

Thanks bro for your work!

Edited:
I have finished installing everything and completing all syncs. All looks and feels good thus far.
I have checked out Internet. Speed there seems really good too.

....next question :-P I can't seem to use builtit.exe tool to rebuild a new nbh file. It does work with DCD's rom so, this is kind of strange. Any ideas? I just want to remove the dialer and transfer the TELUS directory from DCD to this one. The nbh file comes out to be about 1KB in size only!!!

I want to know how as well? Any expert still awake?

i switched kitchens, so if you were disassembling the rom, please use basekit 5042 - the tools i use now merge all the rgus.

Ahh...k that makes sense. Hrm, I've noticed I can't do the over the air programming with this ROM even after loading an older TELUS PRL. Thanks! BTW, this ROM is quite quick!

Everything is working awesome. Great job as usual no2chem!

21MB of free RAM on soft reset. Not too shabby :) I'm also happy you unlocked the EXT_ROM so I can now install Sprint Navigation without having to do much work.

I'm not sure how to use your base kit and can't find instruction anywhere... I copy BuildOS over and run it, it gives me error

If I'm not mistaken, you can just extract the files into whatever kitchen and then modify them accordingly, after which you can just use the buildit utility to create a new ROM.

you might want to download the new version of basekit, it includes a rom dir that should work fine with buildos.

There is an issue with mail and build 5042. The mail program thinks the extended ROM is a locked storage card and will only save attachments to the built in memory. How do I re-hide the extended rom?
