PPCGeeks - No2Chem nueROM 2.0 (WM6.1) Thread

Retarded question, but I forget how this works... I have the new radio, after updating on Monday. If I flash this ROM will it downgrade the radio? or will I just have No2's ROM with the new radio??

ETA: I have never unlocked or installed anything to this phone except the HTC released ROM from Monday. It was stock from Sprint prior to that.

It will not downgrade your radio. You will need to unlock before you can use the custom rom though.

Ok so This is what i am Running currently..

NueRom Windows 6.1 5055
ROM 3.35
Radio 3.35

And i cant access the internet at all. I have tried the IOTA.zip to see if that fixes the problem. Everytime i try to access the web it will says its connecting then it will give an error code of 78 Network error. Anyone have any idea on how to fix this issue.

I have tried to do aa total reset but im totally stumpted..

You can try a reset on the ##DATA# screen as well.

Also check to make sure you didnt loose any of your settings in ##778#.

I know this is beating a dead horse finding a compat smart dialer (working arrows) but has anyone figured out a way to get "contacts" to show up on the bottom left of the dialer?

most dialer cabs include a smart dialer so just try some of the cabs that look good to you.

I dont know exactly the answer to your question but the DCD kitchen based rom i use has working arrows and contacts on the left soft button. I am using the touch dialer built into the Kitchen.

DCDs kitchen? Do you have a stand alone cab for that by any chance?

I have tried 4 of them and none of them have smart dialers, and the one that did broke the vision arrows. Have any suggestions?
