Re: No2Chem nueROM 2.0 (WM6.1) Thread

Okay Gang... Sorry for the newbie question.

I just finish flashing my Mogul with nueROM 2.0. Everything appears to be up and running.

I've installed three applications thus far...

1. Resco Explorer
2. Resco FTP
3. Resco Registry

None which appear on the "Remove Programs"

Heck! None of my installed apps are listed!!!

How do I remove these applications? Am I missing something?

Help please, and thanks!

well i was havin the same probs as the guy above me,

and i followed the regedit guide to unlocking my phone.

but no dice.

followed it exactly (im no noob to regedits neways haha) but cant figure it out, however. i did notice while i was changing them, they were already either changed, something remotely different, or for instance when it says to add a new entry, mine was already there. ne ideas?

but other than this, this is by FAR the best rom ive used ina whileeee.

Try reinstalling the application you want to uninstall after doing the registry edits.

Let me know how it works out for you. Taken from XDA forums:

1. Do a hard reset. (sync before doing hard reset because you will lost all your contacts/calendar/etc...)
2. After reboot install a registry editor
3. Reset the following the registry to default value: (from dynaxfl post)

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Policies\Policies\0000 1001 = 2
-> Change the value data from 1 to 2
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Policies\Policies\0000 1005 = 16
-> Change the value data from 40 to 16
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Policies\Policies\0000 1017 = 128
-> Change the value data from 132 to 128

Save the change and soft reboot. This should work
4. After your reboot you will not see your registry editor you installed in step 2, but reinstall and you'll see it.
5. Install you apps and you should see them in the Remove Programs

I'm going to try doing this quick.. i'll let you know if it works.. the only thing different is doing a hard reset first..
