Nautica, what were/are your primary resources for settiing up UC? I see a lot of custom registry hacking, etc., to get apps installed and configured re-configured correctly. I wonder if there's some sort of 'cookbook' thread that lists various apps and how to use UC to set them up and restore settings.

This is something I really want to use, so I don't have the trepidation of trying out a new ROM. Things the 'cookbook' could include:

1- How to automatically restore the PIM phonebook
2- How to automatically reconfigure POP mailboxes and outlook
3- How to automatically re-install and configure Squeezeplayer, WMWiFiRouter, VoiceCommand, etc. (a separate 'recipe' for each)
4- How to restore user info (obviously)
5- How to restore bluetooth pairing info (can this even be done?)

Anyhow, I digress from the point of this thread. I should start a new thread or find another to piggyback onto.

As to your question #2...I've used the SD card for all my ROM updates in the past (not 3.35 yet, though). Workd like a charm (if you've got the proper unlocker/locker thingy going on).

I wrote a script to automatically install a folder full of cabs which might make things easier while UC is down (I don't use UC either way, but hopefully this will help those who do use UC for now!) : http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=20753

Also got the UC error. But the good news is that this seems to be the only error and USBModem is working!!! Excelent rom!!! Keep up the great work. Thanks a lot no2chem.

I have been using a Vista computer and have had no problems, but with everyone else having problems I have switched to sd card. I went straight from N2C 51 to Sprint 3.35 to N2C 52 back to Sprint and hopefully back to N2C when I get off work all using the extra sc card that came with the phone. Finally found a use for it. No problems at all. Seems quicker too.

No problem with radio either.

Why can't I flash the 5054? It just gets stuck on the HTC screen after flashing?

Is it missing in 5054? I have it in 5043, I had to roll back because of UC...
