Man that sucks that there won't be anymore roms just basekits. Oh well I guess that that is better than nothing. Also stock dialer would be cool rather than no dialer. I skin my dialer anyway.

i think you'll actually prefer it that way =p. the proper infrastructure just needs to be in place.

also some notes: final at around 5pm pacific, ill be back around 7pm pacific and finish work on 5053.

wait no more roms? are there any good tutorials for installing baskits? I'm still a bit of a noob here but I love your WM 6.1 roms. I just got the new sprint rom and MAN I'm gonna be missing threaded SMS

Just me or does 5052 have issues with no audio on phone calls and reboots upon clicking speaker phone?

**Hard reset, no go. Redownloaded rom, no go. Going back to 5051 for now...**

well I hope that there are lots of OEM's and a tutorial on making them from cabs (I havn't been able to make an oem) :-(

5052 is not based on new ROM. if you mean Sprint's release as of today. Nothing is at the moment.

judging how he's done his other side apps: nuefonts, nueled, nueaudio, etc... i bet he has something in mind that will streamline the basekit process somehow.... dude is ahead of his time!!!! (am i on the right track n2c?)

I love the prebuilt ROMs, so I'm nervous about the idea of only basekits, but if there's a clean and clear enough kitchen and it's easy enough, I can see why it would be better. So far I've had very poor luck with kitchens and basekits, though. I always seem to get errors while building it, even from a clean basekit with no customizations.
