PPCGeeks - No2Chem nueROM 2.0 (WM6.1) Thread

just as a random sidenote (along with my thanks, no2chem, for the excelent work): I just flashed 5050, and extrom works fine... which is actually inconvenient, since I used palm digital media's ereader program which gets horribly confused when the extrom is visible =]

so I'll be turning it off... but it works.

hmm, interesting. maybe i screwed up the extrom section of my mogul.

How can I make the date come out as one line like in the picture in the first post? I now have that date and the clock in the same line. It wasn't like this before.

I flashed 5050 last night and had the slow first boot up and after that it did fix itself. I have to say though, this ROM is slower than the earlier builds. Maybe it's just my phone?

Everything is installed just like it was on build 5048.

Anyone else?

Just for grins... what does taking your battery out for the full minute do for you that a hard reset doesn't, and why would you need to do that?

No idea why the battery thing works other than maybe it makes it forget more. RAM stores data until all power is removed. Maybe that has something to do with it.

BTW Best ROM yet. Very fast on my mogul and I have 21 megs of ram free after all of my programs are installed and running overnight.

Where did you get Java from? I just upgraded to the 5050 rom (pull your battery) after using the 3.16 beta and I lost Java and the Sprint Music Store. I saw in this thread I'm not the only one looking to get that Sprint app (and Java) back.
