Email problem:

I flashed my mogul to no2chem 5049. Everything works except checking email.

I use the built-in "messaging" email client. And the server type is IMAP4.
However, it could not download the body of the messages, just the header.
After a very long time, it pops us two error messages, saying that it could not download the messages.

The "messaging" email clients works for the official 2.17.651rom.

Can somebody lead me to a post regarding editting the mdn number and all that. i updated to this rom now I cant make phone calls out or send text messages.

You will need to hit ## and the MSL which is the lock code for your phone. If you do not have this information, you will have to contact Sprint.

Downgraded back to stock rom 2.17 radio 1.47 after tried different version of rom 3.16 and radio 3.27. I love the speed of new radio and GPS ability but frustrated with memory leak and hung up a few time a day and I had to soft reset a few times a day. I think I have to wait until rom 3.16 official release. With 3.16 rom, sometimes I could not receive call, it just went straight to voicemail. Thank for all great work of great helpful people here.

Problems with the headphone.
I tried the no2chem and dcd, neither of them can make my headphone work properly, usually it has no sound but one or two times in last couple days when I unplugged and plugged the headphone, the sound came out, but it will be no sound if I do this again. Now I switched back to the official 2.17, everything works fine. I'm wondering if there is any issue with the new rom, or something wrong with the registry?
Anyone met this kind of problem before?
BTW, I'm using a miniUSB to 3.5mm headphone converter.

Would I be correct in assuming that I won't need to worry about re-entering my MSL,MDN and all that stuff if I'm going from the first 6.1 version to the latest 5049?

I didn't have to do it from 3.16 to no2chem either...so I hope I'll be ok.

I'm pretty sure that if you are NOT updating the radio, you won't need to reenter your MDN, MSID etc

Saumon is correct, but even if it gets wiped it is not hard to obtain.
