I definately agree...a kitchen would be extremely useful!

As far as the big button dialpad goes, I simply don't use it because I think its ugly...I know there are variants but even they are ugly...per my taste. And I mostly use the stylus anyway because I hate touching the screen as it gets dirty so quick.

And you're right...lets get back on track. :)

No2chem has been out of sight for a while... is this a good sign?

DCD's rom is based on this rom correct? I just think it's a little odd.

No, DCD's rom is not based on this ROM as far as I know. As mentioned by another poster, DCD likely uses a different pagepool size, which increases available memory, but makes the phone less responsive. If you read a page or two prior to your post, there are benchmarks showing the two roms, DCD and No2Chem, and no2chem is faster than DCD's as a whole.

Well technically it will load your backup but because your current backup was generated from a completely different rom and not just a updated rom of the same like, you would have to expect possible software glitches, missing files and conflicting applications which could cause severe undesireable side affects...

i have never been able to get spb to do that..always says its detected a different rom..if you proceed device could become unstable...I've even tried and always failed.....but try like xweaponx says maybe you may have better luck...

Has anyone had any problems with receiving phone calls and such? I remember seeing in the original 3.16 thread about peoples phone capabilities not working after the update, even after re entering numbers. Also, does the update delete the phone data numbers like the esn and msl and such? Finally any gotchas I should be aware of? I have the stock rom and if something goes wrong I would like to go back to my exact current image. Thanks for any information!

Quick question..

I installed the no2chem's 6.1 ROM like the first day or so it came out...Is the current one an upgrade/improvement from the one I have?

I've seen a lot of talk about basekits and stuff, but I'm not quite sure what that is..I guess I'm asking if I should re-flash again..

Thanks

DCD use's a PagePool of 5.23, but that's not all he does or did to get 22mb free on first boot.
