i also went back to 2.17 due to PIE not connecting and the phone taking about 5 minutes to find a signal after a soft reset, and i even reflashed the phone about 3 times but nothing

Web filtering is just as important to me than how fast I connect to a tower. by having a lot of crap filtered creates a much faster and reliable internet experience for me.

I am with you bro. I am so glad I installed the unofficial rom. I love the GPS, and never have any problems finding sats, no matter what the weather is like.
Being an owner of many cars, it is so nice just carrying my GPS in my pocket with me from car to car. It is also nice when traveling with someone who does not have GPS and directions are needed.
My speeds have improved. This is most noticeable using slingplayer. I have always had the "show statistics" option enabled, and my kbps has more then doubled since the upgrade.
Stability, clearly more stable for me. Maybe this has alot to do with apps installed. Everyone has their own batch of apps they use, and maybe I just have a lucky combination, but this phone is so much more stable for me then before.
Bluetooth, have not tried yet, so I can not comment. But this post reminds me to try. I was using a bluetooth headset when I first upgraded from the 6700 to the 6800 and it did not work so well, so I stopped using it. I am going to give that a shot with hope it is improved.
I am still waiting for the official release, but if I dont read of any major changes, I doubt I will even install it.

I just went back to 2.17 last night because i could not get windows live/hotmail push to work on the new 3.16 rom (dcd 2.2.3). Push email is very important to me.

I think I'm going back too.

GPS is nice but Rev A is a gimmick for me without tethering and I'm tired of my phone disconnecting my net constantly... HUGE dealbreaker.

Not to ruin your good praises but how long are you able to stream on slingplayer before it disconnects you. And if i doesn't, then please give me your Mogul specs because I know 3 other people who upgraded to the 3.1 ROM and their biggest complaint for downgrading was slingbox disconnecting.

From the DCD 2.2.3 to Drizzle 1.2.. now I am ready to downgrade back to the 2.17 stock ROM.

Now here is my question..
I have a Verizon xv6800.. and no matter how hard I look.. I can not find a stock ROM for my version of the Titan..
All I find is either Sprint or Alltel versions..
So, how safe is it for me to load the Sprint 2.17 stock ROM on my Verizon xv6800?
Will I run into many problems?

If someone has a Verizon version of the stock ROM..
Could you please share with it with me..?

UPDATE:
Well.. I went ahead and tried to load the Sprint stock ROM after relocking the SPL.
But.. just as I thought.. I am getting "Invalid Vendor ID" message.

UPDATE:
Used SPL 1.20 UnLocker to load DCD 1.6.10 custom ROM w/ 1.40 Radio.
Now I am good.
