How about turning off your phone (not the pda) so you have no connection to Sprint and then testing GPS. Wouldn't that confirm whether the GPS is stand-alone or network reliant (a-GPS) ?

Unfortunately after the update, I can't connect to vision at all. There is an odd blue triangle icon at the top of the screen and 1X never turnes to evdo. There is also something that says "IOTA" which turns red when I get the error.
Any help? PLEASE??? After a hard reset, still nothing. |

I know its a long thread and we are all excited, but this has been done and tested and yes it is real gps. I have received info in tomtom with 7 satellites so far with phone portion turned off.

I had a similar problem, I could use the phone but no data. You need to fix your EPST settings, which you get to with ##3282# then your MSL as the password. If you don't know your username and AAA password, you will have to call Sprint. |
