Here we have the latest release on the Tinkerbell Titan Rom series. This Rom was created to capitalize on the Titan's strengths, and work well with its limitations.
Our only request if you download this Rom, is to post your feedback so that we can determine if it is worth the effort to continue to support this device!! Thank you for your interest! Please post any questions or concerns in this thread! Thanks!! =]=] Be sure to read the README!.txt! Let us know if you need a different carrier and we will be happy to accommodate!

Thanks Buddy. No need to be afraid. I have flashed this Titan at least 200 times in making this Rom. You will be fine.

200 times? Doesn't it harm the device every time it is flashed. Maybe I don't understand the term 'flash'?

It's the mobile version of 'upgrading' or changing your windows version. Kind of think of it like a mini computer. The only bad that could come out of it, is left over data, that is easily rid-able.

The ROM memory is capable of thousands of rewrites (flashes) before wearing out.

Thanks guys for helping out here. Yes, Buddysousa, you will be fine flashing new life into your device... I know it is a bit scary and intimidating at first. But it is a simple process once you have the Rom. Let us know if you have any more questions!

Hey Buddysousa! Is your device unlocked? If it is, then yes, all you need for upgrading your device is included in the Rom link in the first post!

Hey, there is no shame in that! We all start somewhere. I would suggest taking a look a this thread to help you to understand. Basically, you are going to 'unlock' your device to accept a Rom other than the factory Verizon one. Let us know if you have any questions after reading! Thanks!

Awesome. Read through that information so that you become familiar with what you are going to do with your device. If you want to unlock your GPS feature as well, you can download the GPS Toolset v1.22 from the first post. Skip step one of the five steps (so just do steps 2 -5) and you will be all set.

Really? Sorry... it is working here. It may be something with how I have our FTP set up. Can someone confirm that it is not working? What error are you getting?

Thank you for checking on that... Let me look at our FTP settings here...

Humm... looks like the settings are correct here. I reset the file permissions to 'Read'. Can someone confirm if it is working for you there now? Thanks!

Step 1 in Tink's GPS Toolset is to relock your phone. Since your phone is locked you don't need to relock it.

Thank you for the feedback. Have you been using the Oxios Hibernate to recover lost memory during daily use? Give it a try if you are not already doing so. You will find it under your start menu. Also, you can toggle between high and low memory modes when you are not using your camera, and this will give you about 10 MB more program memory. Yes, sometimes the Titan does get bogged down with all we ask it to do. Soft resets can be our friend.

first I'm jealous of how much reputation you have accumulated in such a short time , second , where have you gotten the bing maps ? do you have a cab you would love sharing with me ? :) I would be in great debt to you :)

Sure, I would be happy to share. This Bing navigation is custom designed for qvga... are you not running a wvga device elesbb?
