Find the duplicate file and remove it. That's about all I have been able to do.

Nope. Bepe's BuildOS can be obnoxious that way. Its for that reason that once I finish my other project I'll get back to separating everything out with option.xml's for the new base. When thats done, you simply need to Uncheck the conflict and check the OEM you'd rather use, and all should be well.
Gimme a bit of time. Still going back and forth on whether to use 2.17 or 2.14 and Vogue hybrid for the new base. Need some more time with both. - DogGuy |

When BuildOS tells you which file already exist, use windows explorer search for the same file name that's inside the "OEMAPPS" (or maybe "SYS"?) and remove them...

I've been watching the custom ROM scene for quite some time. I'm getting ready to dive into making custom ROM's and custom applications. I've been writing apps for Windows for several years at work so I'd consider my self to be more than average on this kind of stuff.
I downloaded the DogGuy base but it won't compile even just the base out of the box with no mods. I end up with some error messages and no ROM file. Does anyone have a simple guide to get started? I started playing with the package creator for converting some CABs to OEMs and I think I've got most of those going but I'd like to make sure before I start flashing some bad stuff to my phone. |
