sampson's clean wm5 rom for titan

Hey sampson. Can you send me the wmodem files. I prefer to use it over Internet Sharing app. Thank you. I've requested this MANY times and no seem to be able to help me.

there isn't a point really. there's no proper driver out for the serial link for the mogul. the only one i could find i took from sprint's ppc6700 drivers in their mobile broadband app but it didn't work well at all. if you manage to find some drivers for the phone i'll package it up.

this is meant to be a barebones rom. you can still install office using one of the many cabs floating around on the internet or use ImCoKeMaN's default wm5 rom which has all the normal apps. installing the app to default storage is the same as having it in rom just an extra step. i prefer to have the choice considering i've never used office in my life on my phone.

can you download from any of the sharing sites like megaupload or rapidshare? my server is 100mbit so it'd only take a few seconds but i need to know where you can download from. i'm redoing rev 01 real quick as i just found the files for internet sharing. it's such a small change i don't think it requires a revision increment...but it does make everything on the 10 button comm manager work so that's always nice

Installed it and loved the free mem, but could not get vision working, so i'm going back to the current sprint ROM. Let me know if there's something I should be doing to get the vision working because I'd love to have the nearly 30mb or ram. Thanks

in the sprint rom initiate IOTA provisioning. once that completes open up your web browser and make sure you have web access. if it works you should be able to flash to any rom and retain your internet configuration.

looks like i can use megaupload. I've got my phone stuck on the bootloader with aparently no rom installed...haha the quicker the better !!!

I installed this ROM last night and so far I love it except for 1 major thing and 2 minor.

The major is even though I found a windows live cab on ppcgeeks and installed it, it does not automatically check my e-mail like it does in WM6. Anybody know how to make that work?

The 2 minor things are in my messages the date format seems to be DD/MM/YY, rather than the MM/DD/YY im used to. The other minor thing is I miss the slide sound lol.

Any help with windows live or the date thing would be greatly appreciated!
