I searched using bing and google and there was some speculation by ONE user that his TP2 might have some sort if CIQ registry entry on it.

All other articles and statements say that Windows Mobile and Windows Phone 7 phones do not have it.
lmao, call sprint and ask then. im only speaking of tp2 or htc phones that are not wp7.

Yeah Horndoctor it isn't. I looked at my old Touch and really considered esn swapping it to my line again. It still has my tweaked ROM on it. Like the good old days back in '08 when all we had to worry about was breaking something and having to flash it back to stock to take it in. As much as I really like android, the growing threat of malware, which didn't exist for windows mobile is getting me to thinking. About just switching back to WM, since its basically a dead platform. That makes it essentially safe.

There actually are malware for windows mobile lol..just not too many...there is even spybot search and destroy for windows mobile lol...

That said the malware scare for Android is fairly over rated...you have to keep in mind a few things...

1) What version of Android does the malware target?

2) What type of malware is it? (by the report 50% of them were those that send premium text messages)

3) What method do you get the malware? So far I have not heard of any malware that you will get by just surfing the web..by the reports most malware was gotten by downloading software from chinese market places.

I mean end of the day its kind of simple, don't download any shady apps...

Yep, that's one of the main reasons I like using WinMo.

The cool kids(or at least they think they are) will say I'm using outdated equipment and disrespect me as well as others that use Windows Mobile devices and say ignorant things. In my opinion, that's one of the reasons this site is not as busy as it once was. There are snobs here and WinMo users/members don't post or create themes or mods here because they don't feel welcome. If they do post or ask a question, some ignorant know-it-all who measures his/her intelligence simply by the newness of their device will post some kind of ignorant answer like "I had no idea anyone still uses this old outdated crap" or "Just buy a new phone!" and they go somewhere like xda where some users are still modding and using a device like a Vogue or Titan or they just lurk here and they never post. It's very sad.

I tried to install that on my Vogue and it wouldn't even launch. I think that app was made for an early version of WinMo like 5 or earlier.
