Re: My First "Problem" with Official Gingerbread, Android 2.3.5
We have two phones that have the new GB upgrade - and both are getting bogus notifications about "updates available" from the Android market. These notifications pop up at least once each day.
One of the phones is also getting a repeating notification of a text message that was sent before the upgrade. Again - not a big deal - but annoying... |

Re: My First "Problem" with Official Gingerbread, Android 2.3.5
I too am having the same problem. I have tried to download the GPS Test and GPS Status and although this adds another 10 minutes at times, it still loses the signal. Out of 10 to 15 signals, the unit only locks on 2 to 3 signals. Many gray bars are well within the green zone and it will not lock on them. Any ideas on how to fix this? PS, not rooted, standard epic unit.

Re: My First "Problem" with Official Gingerbread, Android 2.3.5
I found out that this GPS problem only occurs using the Telenav GPS program that was installed along with gingerbread. When I use the plain old Navigation (google) I have no problems! It is not as advanced as the Telenav with regards to traffic redirect, etc... but it still works.
