Those are not official, that is just based on what is known. While there is a chance i9000 will get ICS, I doubt Epic will simply because sprint has no reason to.

I don't think it was just the Epic users, Sammy doesn't update hardly any of their phones...them and LG.

i9000 was the first to get updated to Gingerbread and have been releasing maintenance updates every 1 - 2 months. (with a new beta every 1-2 weeks)

I just purchased an Epic 4G for my wife because I liked mine so much and the consultant said "ALL" Sprint Android phones would receive the Ice Cream Sandwich update in December.
Not sure if he was full of it, but I'm good with it. |
