look at the maps before and after:

Sprint Community: Voice and 3G coverage being drastically...

I mean you can visit the coverage map yourself and look..make sure you zoom all the way in...
When was the last time you used the coverage locator?

Sprint - Nationwide Coverage

It seems that the country has been re-greened. I don't buy it though, because something still seems off. Even 3G looks good.

Here is a "special map" that I found but PA still looks pretty solid to me.

Support - Article

Also I decided to break out my old Mogul for some testing. At my desk the mogul can get 8 or 9 more dBm's then the Epic. Something's got to be off here!

Even with that though, my phone still doesn't get a full 5 bars when 20 feet from the airwave. Now note that when I log into Sprint.com I chose the option to have the output on low, it's not like I live in a mansion or anything.

I just really wanted to know if there was a way to test the radio of a phone, but there doesn't seem to be one anymore. I heard that there was once this box you can put your phone in and it does a boat load of tests on it. I just can't find a Sprint store that has one...
um..ahm likea few days ago..it looks like their map was changed :/

I still think that it exaggerated though, but even though it shows last updated on 7-14-11, the green has been around for at least 2 weeks before that. It was just updated again a few days ago. I've been trying to isolate my problem so I've been looking for information everywhere when I first noticed that.

It's as if the towers in my area, haven't been told that the coverage map has changed!

In the past month I've had 60676, 01120, 60679 and yesterday I got 60680...

I found out that I have an advance tech Sprint store about 30 minutes from me, so I'm heading up there this weekend for some radio tests, then I'll start bitching for a new phone if that doesn't work...
